12 Months of Christmas...

I can't ever remember being so disorganised as I was this past Christmas.

I didn't do any hand made gifts, or special gift wrapping and worse than that... I didn't even make one Christmas card.  (ok I made a handful for Unscripted Sketches but that was it).

I declared (out loud) that next Christmas was going to be different (yes I will admit that I say that every year LOL but this year I mean it!).

My christmas notebook worked a treat as far as keeping notes and being somewhat organised in December and I will definately be doing that again, but by the time I came up with that idea it didn't really help with crafty stuff that I wanted to do.

Yesterday I had a crafty catchup with Susan & Linda and after much discussion about the lack of organisation for Christmas we decided that our monthly craft catchups would be Christmas orientated.
And so begun the "12 months of Christmas".

We sat and discussed what each of us would like to make/do and a list was created (I might just add here that Susan & I are listaholics which did Linda's head in a bit).  We allocated each project to a month and the first "12 months of Christmas" project catchup was scheduled - it will be Saturday 16th February.  We have decided that February's project will be a Christmas Tree Skirt.

Please feel free to join in on the fun and share with us your project.  You don't have to do the same projects as us, just choose something Christmassy.  We have a few months left open at the moment so if you have an idea please feel free to share that too.

I am nutting out a few ideas for a project for January and I think I might have found one.

Oh I can feel the thrill or being organised already LOL!

Love me :-)

haha Linda is so funny!! That reminds me the 30 days of list in March is coming up, what do you say friend should we DO LISTS AGAIN!! I'm thinking YES YES YES, the more writing I do the better this year.

I'm so excited about this idea, had briefly crossed my mind the last 2 years but didn't do it. This is so much better having you crafty girls to share it with and motivate each other.

Just maybe my mom will want to do this also, the more the merrier right.

Have to say that some of mine will be kept secret though, already planning a couple surprise gifts.

uummm not sure what you yet but cards, decoration for tree, wreath, decoration for house, anything SNOWMEN AND TREES, crafty with the kids maybe. Instead of making we could exchange recipes one month, cookies/baked goods/snacks/ whatever.

I talked to much again, sorry excited about it!!
