Unscripted - sketch #156

Happy weekend everyone, hope you are all doing something fun.  Its time for a new sketch at Unscripted Sketches.

Sketch #156 is up and here is my take on the sketch.  I kept it pretty close to the sketch this week.

I had some "Neapolotan" paper from Dear Lizzy that I have been itching to use.  Okay when I say itching I mean I really, really want to use the paper but I really don't like using it because then it will be all gone LOL. Silly I know but I have only just started using the last Dear Lizzy line of paper and that was only because this new line came out.  Secretly though I have put some away for safe keeping, I don't want to go using it now do I.

The pattern paper with the mason jars on it is my all time favourite (well that and the one with the polaroids all over it, Oh and the one with the banners on it and the ... ) anyway where was I!  Thats right back to this weeks sketch. I also managed to get my hands on the Dear Lizzy "mason jar" stamp so I combined both to create this card.  I used a few different stamps that said wishes and stamped them inside the jars to make it look like jars filled with "wishes" greetings.

Of course I had to add a banner.  I think I need to challenge myself to make a card without a banner LOL.  As it...

Pattern paper and mason jar stamp - "Neapolitan" from Dear Lizzy, American Crafts.
Stamps, Ink, stamps, white cardstock & twine - Stampin Up
Ink, stamps & heart die (used for boarder top & bottom of card) - Papertrey Ink
Other - yellow strip paper was a piece of scrap, unsure of brand.  Magic Mount.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my take on this weeks sketch.  Be sure to pop on over to Unscripted Sketches to get even more inspiration from the DT.  Enjoy the new sketch, have some fun with it and then link it up so we can all get see your take on the sketch.

Enjoy your weekend, I am off for a crafty catchup with some dear friends to make our next Sweetwater Label Crew project.  Seriously can't wait, it seems like ages since we got together.

Happy creating
love me :-)

those jars are too cute. And adding the banner to the big jar is a fun touch.

How adorable this card is, all our favorites on it. I feel the same way about certain papers and supplies, I just keep saving them. Good idea to have a secret stash of it.
I love the banner of course, I say keep the banners coming!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog,it's been a crazy week of photos. Did you get my email?

Great card and I hope you had fun with the girls! I met Linda the other night and she is as gorgeous as the rest of you! It must make for some "colourful" conversations :-)

Very creative! I really like the illusion of the "wishes" floating around in the jars. Great idea.
