Almost there...

Almost a year later and here I am, so close, so close to having my very first quilt finished.  I have been sewing like a mad man but with maltesers close by all I have left to do is add my boarders its ready to be quilted.
Now the big question, do I attempt to quilt it myself ... or get a professional to do it???

What are you attempting?
love me :-)

Nothing, actually. I have given myself the day off, and have spent most of it in silence, just enjoying the peace and quiet with a cup of tea in my hand:)
Re: the quilt...I say get it professionally done. It will cost you, but I think the results will be well worth it, and it will have the look that you are after. You've put in many many hours on this quilt, and I want it to inspire you to make more, not leave you feeling disappointed. You should be so proud of yourself!

HOORAY for the quilt almost being done. WAY TO GO!! What an awesome feeling to know you did this and kept working on it little by little. I agree about getting a proffesional to do it. You should be proud also, love it!

I am going to attempt looking thru all my WITL photos so far and ordering them. Thinking it would be easier to just order a bunch of 8x10 collage sheets but also love the little ones in the baseball page protectors, that is a lot of cutting though. Decisions decision??
Happy Weekend!

Congratulations!!! I'm so excited for you! I would have to say follow the advise of these wise women and have it professionally quilted. Suzi is right-- you want to feel inspired to do more...

My current projects have been garden and embroidery related-- I've been totally immersed in it and I'm lovin' it!

Hugs,
Jill
