This time... 7 years ago

I was getting used to be a mum for the second time. I can't believe that its been 7 years since my Son Joshua was born, where has that time gone. It certainly makes you stop and think about time when one of your children has a birthday, it seems to creep up on you, without any warning. I mean this time 7 years ago it was our first day with our son Joshua, I had just given him a feed and was settling down for my first night of broken sleep. I had kissed Colin good night and waved him goodbye as he left my hospital room...

and now 7 years later we have just arrived home from his birthday party, opened all his presents, I iced the last of the 36 cupcakes for his classmates tomorrow, watched him sitting quietly on his bed reading one of his books that he got today before finally bombing out for the night.

Happy Birthday my darling Joshua, we love you so very much.
