We are well and truly into the swing of the school holidays. Its been fun and very relaxing. On Friday night my mum had the kids for a sleepover so colin and I got to go out for dinner and have a bit of us time, very nice.On Saturday Colin took Josh to the movies for some daddy/son time and I took Alex and her friend to the movies to see Hannah Montana. Even I enjoyed the movie, it was nice.
On Saturday night Josh had a his friend Tristan over for a sleep over and Alex had her friend Abbey sleep over. The kids had so much fun and the spa got a real workout. I guess thats the advantage of a spa over a pool, you can use it in winter. The boys got in first at about 4.30 in the afternoon. The girls wanted to play outside for a bit but the boys kept wetting them with the water pistols so the girls gave up and got in too.
It was so much fun watching them play and laugh and laugh some more. After the spa we had spag bog for dinner (everybody eats that so it was a safe bet) and then we had a Michael Jackson disco hour (Josh was desperate for one) including disco lights and very loud music. The kids danced, sang and tried the odd moon walk. Very funny for watch.
We had a big cook up on sunday morning with pancakes, bacon, eggs and more pancakes. The kids loved it but it wasn't long before they wanted to get back into the spa.
Once all the kid had been picked up we headed off for some family time at the Chocolate Factory for afternoon tea. Yes Josh was in his element... chocolate all around him.Hope you are all enjoying your school holidays.
Love me :-)
