This ones for Linda M

Happy Tuesday, hope you are all doing well.
As the title says "this ones for Linda M" meaning that this post was inspired by her. Several weeks ago Linda asked how my slice machine was going and she was surprised that she doesn't see much done with it either by me or on line so she challenged me to do a layout. Actually she challenged me to do about 5 different projects, so here is my first.
I have had my slice since before christmas and have not done anything with it. Well I did a layout when I first got it but I only used the slice to cut out a butterfly and a swirl. Things have been so busy over the last 3 or so months that it just seemed too hard. When I moved back into my scrap room I put my slice on my desk right next to me on purpose so that I would use it more. And up until now I haven't.
So a bit thankyou to Linda for kicking me inthe backside so to speak. This card was simple but oh so fun. I used the Basic shapes 1 and Basics shapes 2 cartridges to complete this card. The words are very easy to use and it doesn't take long to know where to position the slice when you want to cut things out to leave the negative space as I did on the front of this

card. As I said this card was really easy and only took about 10 minutes, gotta love that.
Anyway Linda has now challenged me again so I need to get back to my slice machine and get another project done.

Have a great day everyone :-)

How funny...Linda is sure throwing around those challenges lately! I finished a quilt a couple of days ago because she "challenged" me! I think we will have to come up with some challenges for her! Good on you for using your Slice.

AWW Tracey that card is beautiful. You are so clever.
BRING IT ON is all i can say to you and Susan.
I will try any challenge but the outcome wont be as good as yours or susans.
Now we are up to Q16.
Is that a challenge or what!
