Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.I have been having a lovely weekend, very relaxing and time to sort out a few things that have been on my mind.
Yesterday we went on a family bike ride around the swan river. I was so much fun and a good time for us all to have some family time. Its so cool now because when you ride around the river, on the south perth side there are these exercise machines that you can use. So we all had a go each time we came to a set. Yes my arms are a wee bit sore today. We also stop everytime we come to a playground (which means we stop alot, which is good because it gives my butt a little healing time LOL). Josh loves stopping at all the playgrounds.
After we got home and had some lunch I went over to Linda's (one of our very good customers) for afternoon tea and a chat. It was so nice to sit and chat and she made some very yummy anzac buscuits, it was hard to stop at one.I got to see where she creates all her wonderful scrapbook pages and I was lucky enough to see the album she is starting for her daughter, Caitlin (hope I spelt that right) about her school ball. Linda had only done a few pages but it already looked stunning.
I was also very lucky to see some of her sewing. It is all beautiful and very inspiring. Linda even taught me how
to make some lovely little flowers. I have been wanted to learn how to make these for ages so I was thrilled when Linda said she would show me.So thanks again Linda for a wonderful afternoon.
And to finish this post I wanted to share a layout that I did today (instead of housework) using my Slice.
Again it is a quick layout but I wanted to get this story recorded before it was lost.
I just loved these vellum flowers and so, so easy to do. The circles were cut from the slice and so was "50".
Again, a quick layout but its all about getting the story down for me.
Well enjoy the rest of this beautiful long weekend, I am off now to do that housework as we have friends coming over tonight for drinks... Yes more detoxing again tomorrow.
Have a good one :-)

You are very welcome.
Were the vellum flowers cut with the slice they look really fresh and eye catching.
Susan will get a laugh when she sees that I taught you how to do puff flowers-at least this is something where the stitches dont need to be even! As we all know near enough is good enough for me.
xx
Sounds like you are having a great weekend and good to see that Linda's challenges are making you use your Slice more!!
